Due to public health guidance recommending the cancelling of large public gatherings, we have made the decision to cancel our Casino Night fundraiser scheduled for this Saturday, March 14th, 2020.
We appreciate all of you who have made donations, purchased tickets, and sponsorships. We will be offering refunds to all ticket purchasers. Within the next one to two days, we will be emailing and calling you individually with information about refunds.
Thanks to all of you who have already asked about converting your ticket purchase or sponsorship into a tax-deductible donation. This is indeed possible and we will include details about that option as well. Thank you.
We try to be a responsible community partner and are honoring payments and commitments made to our event vendors. We know that local small businesses are going through trying times and we don’t wish to add to them. We hope to be able to reschedule our event in the future.
Operations continue across our shelter and housing programs. The safety of our guests and residents is so important to us and our community. Everyone is well but we are making contingency plans should any one of our guests become sick.
We will continue to send updates in the near future about ways to be involved or support our homeless neighbors. We are grateful to all of you for your support.
With gratitude and hope,
