Lunch and Learn: Hypothermia Prevention Program
In observance of World Homeless Day, join us for an insightful virtual “Lunch with New Hope” on Thursday, October 10th, from 12 PM to 1 PM. During this event, you’ll learn about New Hope Housing’s Emergency Hypothermia Prevention Program. Hear directly from our staff about the critical challenges faced by clients and staff during the winter season, when we see up to 350 individuals per day in need of shelter. Participate in a live Q&A and discover how you can help support individuals experiencing homelessness this winter.

Arlington Turkey Trot
New Hope Housing is excited to be a beneficiary of the 2024 Arlington Turkey Trot! Join 4,000 other runners on Thanksgiving Day at one of Arlington’s premier 5k’s. Net proceeds are donated to 18 nonprofit partners providing safety net services in the Arlington Community. We can’t wait to race with you on Thanksgiving!

Lunch and Learn: Workforce Development
Join us for another insightful virtual Lunch with New Hope on Thursday, August 15th from 12pm – 1pm as we delve deep into our Workforce Development program. Hear directly from our dedicated team of Workforce case managers, who tirelessly work every day to secure permanent jobs for our clients and support them in maintaining these positions. Discover various ways you can volunteer in our Workforce Development department to uplift our clients’ self-esteem as they re-enter the workforce or prepare for future promotions and job opportunities.
Open House at New Hope Housing’s Residential Program Center
Join us to learn more about the work that New Hope Housing is doing in the Arlington community to meet the needs of our homeless neighbors. Tour the shelter, learn about volunteer and donation needs, and hear from our Executive Director and program staff.

Go Over The Edge!
Conquer your fears, raise some funds, and have a blast at the best community fundraising event in Northern Virginia!
Since 2022, New Hope Housing has partnered with Over The Edge Global and the Hilton Arlington National Landing to host a day of adventure. On event day, 90+ volunteers and supporters rappel down the side of the 14-story Hilton in National Landing. Each person raises at least $1,000 to participate.
