Help needed with "Point in Time" Survey in Arlington

Did you know that 64 of the most vulnerable homeless individuals and families in Arlington have moved into their own homes since you participated in 100 Homes Registry Week two years ago?
Help us house more of our neighbors in need, meeting our goal of ending homelessness in Arlington by fall 2014 – volunteer for the annual Point in Time Count on Wednesday and Thursday, January 29 and 30!
The Point in Time (PIT) Count, in its 14th year, provides a one-day “snapshot” of people who are homeless throughout the Metro DC area.  Arlington County is partnering with local nonprofits that work with homeless populations to carry out this year’s PIT Count.  Much like 100 Homes Registry Week, we are depending on volunteers to help us conduct surveys with persons who are living on the streets of Arlington County.  Volunteer teams will collect information from unsheltered homeless adults and enter it into a region-wide database to highlight our progress in meeting needs as well as identify ongoing needs for permanent housing and wrap-around services.
